See Bigfoot through the eyes of Indigenous peoples of the Nch’i-Wána, or Columbia River. This film from OPB’s “Oregon Experience” and LaRonn Katchia (Warm Springs/Wasco/Paiute) looks beyond mainstream portrayals of Bigfoot to explore an Indigenous perspective on the world’s most famous cryptid.

Coffee Date with OPB and Portland Coffee Roasters

Coffee Date with OPB and Portland Coffee Roasters

Learn about Northwest coffee culture and get an exclusive first taste of OPBEANS, a new coffee collaboration between OPB and Portland Coffee Roasters.

Enjoy live DJ sets from KMHD as you sip coffee. Then dig into the history and impact of coffee roasting in the Northwest with a short film from OPB’s “Superabundant” followed by a panel conversation with OPB’s Crystal Ligori and Heather Arndt Anderson, and special guests Robin Harris (Portland Coffee Roasters) and Morgan Eckroth (@morgandrinkscoffee).

OPBEANS is a 100% women-produced coffee from Honduras available for purchase in June. A $1 donation for every coffee bag sold will go to support OPB.

‘Unmatched’ with OPB reporter Kyra Buckley

Join OPB’s Kyra Buckley at the inaugural International Women’s Sports Film Festival for an inside look at the upcoming documentary “Unmatched: The Team That Changed the Beautiful Game, The Untold Story of the 2005 Portland Pilots.”

The film highlights the University of Portland team’s historic, undefeated national championship season, including the players and their lasting impact on soccer.

Get a special sneak peak as we screen a clip from “Unmatched,” followed by a panel conversation with Kyra, the director and featured voices from the film.

Film Tour: ‘First Descent: Kayaking the Klamath’

First Descent: Kayaking the Klamath
Watch the film | Meet the people | Connect with history in person

Join us with OPB producer Jessie Sears (Karuk) as we kick off our film tour for “First Descent: Kayaking the Klamath.”

In 2025, 28 Indigenous youth completed a 300-mile, 30-day river expedition, becoming the first to paddle the entire Klamath River from source to sea since four major dams were removed. An “Oregon Field Guide” special, “First Descent” brings you an inside look at this emotional, historic and triumphant journey.

This event is part of a series of community screening events happening across Oregon in 2026. Check back for information about future event dates and locations.
