Prisoners' Family Members Share Their Stories

Family members of people behind bars face challenges that most Americans rarely deal with. In addition to the constant absence of their loved ones, they face feelings of isolation, self-doubt, and bewilderment as they navigate the criminal justice system.

A group of Oregonians have organized a public reading for Sunday, Oct. 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church called "With You On The Journey," which features monologues written by family members of people in prison. We'll learn more about their stories by speaking with the creator of the event, along with a fellow performer and retired Tillamook County judge.
