Eastbound lanes are closed between exit 216 and exit 374. Westbound lanes are closed to all traffic between Ontario and Baker City.

Officials from the Oregon Department of Transportation say that these closures could remain in effect for several hours.

In a press release, ODOT officials said there are “no viable local detours” around the closure. They advise drivers not to “blindly follow GPS,” as that can lead people to remote roads.
