Out Of Harm's Way: Evacuating Animals From The Eagle Creek Fire
Humans aren't the only ones being evacuated from the Eagle Creek Fire in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge — livestock and pets are being transported out of harm's way, too.

Sound Equine Options, based in Springdale, Oregon, is part of a regional animal evacuation team that's been working to get large animals and livestock out of the fire area. They estimate they've moved about 80 animals so far, including cattle, lamas, alpacas, pigs, horses and goats.
