Hillsboro fire

Lucia Nguyen looks over drying receipts, Feb. 2, 2022, recovered from her dress shop, which was destroyed in a January 2 fire. Nguyen’s opened her Hillsboro shop in August 2021 and did not have a computer system in place—all her sales records were on paper—but amazingly some of those records survived. Nguyen’s priority after the fire was to reorder about 50 dresses for customers, right, trying to get them in and altered for upcoming events.
