Postcards From The Pandemic: Out Of Work And An Uncertain Future

As part of OPB’s coverage of the coronavirus pandemic, reporters and photographers are capturing “Postcards from the Pandemic” to document the lived experience of people in the Northwest during this historic and unusual time. 

Central Oregon reporter Emily Cureton spoke with Janna Fenwick as the crisis began to spread across Oregon. Fenwick cleaned Bend motel rooms by day, and tended bar at night. Now, she said she is in survival mode.
