Andrew Hozier-Byrne, aka Hozier, released the hit song “Take Me to Church” in 2013, on his debut EP. The song’s soaring melody, over block chords and with a choir behind, were a golden, if unlikely, ticket to massive radio play and a legitimate crossover pop hit. The song’s dramatic video about homophobic violence has nearly a quarter-billion views on YouTube.

This month, Hozier released his newest EP, “Nina Cried Power.” The title song brings in Mavis Staples to sing a verse.

Hozier will play two shows in Portland Oct. 19–20 at 8 p.m. at the Roseland Theater. Both shows are sold out, but we have tickets to the second show, Oct. 20, to give away. So even if you missed your chance to buy tickets earlier, you’ve still got a shot. Here’s how to enter the drawing:
