OPB has been recognized with 10 Telly Awards for its video storytelling that serves audiences across the Pacific Northwest.
The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens, and winners represent work from some of the most respected television stations, publishers, production companies and advertising agencies from around the world.
OPB’s award-winning stories span a broad range of categories and subjects including history, science and technology, food, arts and culture and equity.
This video work showcases the rich and diverse stories of the region, connecting communities and taking audiences deeper into what it means to live in the Northwest. This work – like all OPB journalism and programs – is made possible by the generous support of OPB members.

The Telly Awards were founded in 1979 to honor local, regional and cable television commercials, with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after. The award has evolved with the rise of digital video to include branded content, documentaries, social media, immersive and more.
All work entered in The Telly Awards is reviewed by the Telly Awards Judging Council, a diverse judging body of over 250 executives from television networks, production companies, global agencies, immersive content studios, and streaming platforms around the world. They receive over 13,000 entries globally from six continents and all 50 states.
