Small Earthquakes | Portland's Resistance On Police Chief Search | Living With Cancer

• You've probably heard about the Cascadia Subduction Zone, which could cause a 9.0 earthquake off the Oregon coast, but did you know that Oregon and Washington are at risk for smaller quakes as well? University of Portland professor emeritus Bob Butler wants Pacific Northwest residents to know that a localized quake registering 6.5 to 7.0 on the Richter scale could also be devastating.

• Gregory McKelvey with the protest group Portland's Resistance joins us to give his take on the nationwide search for a new police chief, and discuss what the group would like to see from the Portland Police Bureau more broadly.

• We sit down with Oregon native Teva Harrison. In her memoir "In-Between Days," she blends her drawings and graphics with prose to tell the story of her stage-four breast cancer diagnosis at age 37, her subsequent treatment, and her struggle to find meaning and joy in her day-to-day life.
