OPB’s ‘Stories of Home’ creates a space for the voices of Oregon and SW Washington’s rural communities to amplify and elevate their first-person voices and stories around “home.” This format also provides an opportunity for OPB to share the rural voices of our community through OPB channels, and amplifies OPB’s mission to connect people across the Pacific Northwest through the power of a shared story.

OPB partnered with storytelling coach Megan Finnerty to support our storytellers.

The first two iterations of this project took place at The Lodge food carts in Scappoose, Oregon, and the Coos History Museum in Coos Bay, Oregon.
