Gena Renaud creates Japanese confections called wagashi. They are delicious miniature pieces of art sparkling with surprising flavors like honeydew, bergamot, pink grapefruit and pickled cherry blossoms. The edible art reflects the seasons. “Nature is the muse,” Renaud says.
