Oregonians just reelected Sen. Jeff Merkley to his third term. Over the past six years, the U.S. Senate, along with the rest of the country, has suffered from deep partisan divisions. The results of the election suggest these divides are likely to remain. We talk with Merkley about how he’s feeling about the state of the nation now and how he’s approaching working across the aisle in the next session.
