Students and their families have experienced trauma during the COVID-19 pandemic — ranging from illness to financial hardship to the effects of increased isolation. We talk with a Dr. Karyn Gomez, an Eastern Oregon University professor, and Jennifer Azure, a La Grande teacher who is in the program.
