The Gaucho Derby is billed as a 500-kilometer horse race that tests riders on endurance, navigation skills and horsemanship. The race was held in the wilderness of South America’s Patagonia region. Brenda Johnson, from Wallowa County, was one of more than 30 riders from around the globe chosen to participate in the competitive race. She joins us with details of her adventure.
