Douglas County man arrested for alleged theft of $100K from police union

A former Douglas County, Oregon, corrections deputy was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing more than $100,000 from the local police union.

The Roseburg Police Department says 44-year-old Peter Collins admitted to stealing from the Douglas County Law Enforcement Association between 2016 and this year, when he was the union treasurer.
