A former Douglas County, Oregon, corrections deputy was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing more than $100,000 from the local police union.
The Roseburg Police Department says 44-year-old Peter Collins admitted to stealing from the Douglas County Law Enforcement Association between 2016 and this year, when he was the union treasurer.
He was arrested on multiple charges, including theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and official misconduct.
