Amtrak Suspends Train Service Between Portland And Seattle Due To Landslide

Amtrak announced Friday that it has suspended all trains between Seattle and Portland due to a landslide.

Amtrak said in a news release, scheduled and chartered buses will serve as substitute transportation between Seattle and Portland until 8:55 a.m. Sunday.

The company said Amtrak Cascades and Coast Starlight trains to and from areas south of Portland are largely unaffected.
