2 People Killed In Hood River Plane Crash

Two people were killed in a single-engine plane crash in Hood River Friday morning.

Matthew Titus, 56, of California was flying the plane with a single passenger, Ben Davidson, 55, of Hood River.

The Hood River County Sheriff’s Office said both occupants of the plane were declared dead at the Ken Jernstedt Airfield.

The plane crashed on takeoff at around 10 a.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.

The Hood River County Sheriff's Office said it has no reason to suspect any foul play related to the incident.
