Two Northwest speaking engagements for former first lady Michelle Obama have been canceled due to bad weather.
Obama has been on a 12-stop speaking tour to promote her new book, “Becoming.”
She first postponed an appearance at the Tacoma Dome because of the pending snowstorm. On Friday, she announced her Saturday appearance at the Moda Center in Portland would also be canceled.
Both events are being rescheduled for March. According to the Moda Center, ticket refunds are available.
The rescheduled dates are March 24 in Washington and March 19 in Oregon.
