What Kind of Rafting Stories Do You Have?

By Toni Tabora-Roberts (OPB)
Aug. 10, 2011 5:01 a.m.

Our reporter Aaron Kunz reported on his trip down the Snake River's Hells Canyon with a photographer-activist who helped raise awareness about a dam proposed there. Earlier, Amelia Templeton reported on her rafting adventure on the Klamath and how those runs will be affected by the removal of the river's dams. Now it's your turn to share rafting stories and photos. In the comments below, answer any of these questions or share a rafting story of your choosing:

  • Where have you rafted in the Pacific Northwest?

  • Has your rafting been affected by dam removal?

  • What other events or obstacles affect access to rafting locales?

  • Describe a particularly fun or harrowing rafting adventure.
