He may not win the Democratic nomination for president, but Bernie Sanders made it official Tuesday: his populist message plays well in Oregon.
Sanders campaigned hard in Oregon, including appearances in front of large crowds in Portland, Eugene and just over the state line in Vancouver. This weekend, he made a series of calls to media outlets urging his supporters — he termed them “non-traditional voters” in an interview with OPB — to return their ballots.
