Banana Stand Media is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this month. In that decade, they’ve recorded and released nearly a hundred live concert albums from (mostly) local musicians and expanded rapidly into the realm of video production in recent years. Now, the DIY production company is one of the most prolific documentarians of Portland, Oregon’s robust music scene.

Because of that, we’re proud to premiere Banana Stand’s latest video, a performance from rock band Divers that was originally recorded in early in 2016. This previously unreleased live song, “Last Dance,” is featured on the new album, “Live from the Banana Stand Vol. 3.” Recorded at secret shows throughout Portland, the album includes select performances from 1939 Ensemble, Haley Heynderickx, Ural Thomas and The Pain, and more.

“Live from the Banana Stand Vol. 3.” is out today.

Banana Stand Media’s 10 Year Anniversary show is tonight (12/22) at Mississippi Studios in Portland and features performances from 1939 Ensemble, Psychomagic, and Kulululu.

“Last Dance” was recorded before a live audience February 6th, 2016 at Banana Stand in Portland, OR. The video features footage from camera operators Michael McInerney, Darren Hartman, Tyler Bertram, Nick Gattman, Guy Wagner, and Sam Smith and was directed and edited by Michael McInerney. Audio for this video recorded by Matt Thomson, Tim Shrout, and Gabe Seavello, mixed by Matt Thomson, and mastered by Chris Andersen.
