Bedouine is the musical moniker of Los Angeles-based folk artist Azniv Korkejian, who makes gracefully 60s-inflected folk music. Born in Aleppo, Syria, Korkejian’s family emigrated first to Saudi Arabia and then to the U.S. when she was 10. She began to play music seriously as a college student and released her debut album in 2017. Her second record, “Bird Songs of a Killjoy,” was released in June.

She makes a return visit to Portland Dec. 4, and we’re giving away tickets. See below for the entry from.

Bedouine performs at Doug Fir Lounge on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m.  This is a 21+ over performance.
