Local umpire Jamie Sims is heading to the Little League World Series.

Jamie Sims started umpiring when his kids were playing baseball and softball at Murrayhill Little League. They've since graduated, but Sims has only picked up the pace. He's now the umpire-in-chief for Oregon's District 4; has umpired district, state, and regional tournaments; and is headed off to the big stage: Williamsport, Pennsylvania, home of the Little League World Series.
We talk to Jamie before he leaves for Pennsylvania, and just as the Little League World Series of Softball is taking place in Portland today.
