Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Washington, has broken ground on a new clinic to diagnose and treat service members for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), PTSD, and other psychological health conditions. The clinic is funded by a private foundation called the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. A clinic at Walter Reed National Military Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland has been in operation since 2010. Since then three clinics have been build around the country, and three more are in the words, including the one at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
