Vancouver Schools Chief Named Superintendent Of The Year

The Washington Association of School Administrators has named Vancouver Public Schools Superintendent Steven Webb the Superintendent of the Year. Webb began his tenure in 2008, just before the recession would devastate school budgets across the state. Despite having to make cuts to deal with shrinking revenue, the graduation rate in the district is up.
