Doxing used across the political spectrum

During the nightly protests against police brutality in Portland, officers have been allowed to cover over their name tags. Police bureau officials say that’s necessary to protect officers from getting doxed: having their private information put online. Doxing is a tool that’s been used with increasing frequency across the political spectrum. Howard Graves, a senior research analyst with the Southern Poverty Law Center, fills us in.
