A fire at an industrial complex in Salmon Creek destroyed at least seven businesses, according to Clark County fire officials.

Employees at the building on Northeast 13th Court saw smoke coming from a window and called 911 early Wednesday morning.

Crews from Clark County Fire District 6 say the 100,000-square-foot building was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.

Fire District 6 called in crews from Vancouver Fire and Clark-Cowlitz Fire and Rescue to help extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries reported. The county fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire and the estimated cost of the damage.
