Adia White is the coordinating editor for the Northwest News Network, a partnership between public media stations in the Pacific Northwest. Previously, she was the senior news editor at North State Public Radio in Chico, Calif. and the news director at Northern California Public Media in Santa Rosa.

While there, she covered the devastating aftermath of the 2017 Tubbs Fire and the 2018 Camp Fire. She also covered the 2023 Maui wildfires as a freelance reporter for Hawai’i Public Radio.

Some of her favorite assignments include reporting on feral chickens that overran a Northern California city and traveling to the forbidden island of Ni’ihau for This American Life. She is passionate about partnerships and has led numerous collaborations that won national awards.
