
Brooke Herbert
Brooke Herbert is a cinematographer and editor at Oregon Public Broadcasting. Before joining OPB, she worked as a documentary filmmaker, producer, and photojournalist in New Delhi, India. She also had past lives as a video producer at The Oregonian, a producer and director at Blue Chalk Media, and a multimedia editor at the Chicago Tribune.
She studied visual journalism at Ohio University, where she also taught courses in photo editing and photojournalism. She hails from a rural town outside of Louisville, Kentucky.
In her spare time, she writes, hikes, watches too many films, and cooks.
