Chelsea Rose is an historical archaeologist and director of the Southern Oregon University Laboratory of Anthropology.

Rose hosts the award-winning "Underground History" podcast in collaboration with Jefferson Public Radio. She also starred in two seasons of PBS's "Time Team America," produced by OPB.

Rose’s work focuses on the settlement and development of the American West, and she regularly works with the media, students and community volunteers to promote archaeological awareness and encourage historical stewardship.

Rose is also the Principal Investigator and co-founder of the award-winning Oregon Chinese Diaspora Project, promoting research and education on Oregon's early Chinese residents.
