Eli Imadali (he/him) is a visual journalist at OPB telling stories through photography and videography. His work throughout his career has focused on policy impacts, injustice and marginalization, immigrant communities, culture and identity, environmental issues and more.

Before OPB, Imadali was freelance visual journalist based in Denver producing photography and some videography for publications like The New York Times, ProPublica, The Wall Street Journal, High Country News, The Denver Post and Colorado Public Radio. He also taught visual journalism at The University of Colorado Boulder and guest taught at various photojournalism workshops.

Originally from Arizona, Eli graduated from the University of Montana School of Journalism in 2019. When not working, he loves biking around the city, food and cooking, plants, backpacking and basketball.
