Jan Boyd is OPB’s Director of Digital Strategy and Community Engagement. She works at the intersection of editorial, digital product development and revenue. Before OPB, Jan worked as a technology journalist in Silicon Valley and produced documentaries and special project programming for NBC in the San Francisco Bay Area. She also launched a tech startup timed to perfectly coincide with the bursting of the first dot-com bubble. Jan earned a degree in international studies from the University of Washington and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
