I am OPB’s weekend general assignment reporter. Previously, I've been a fellow at the Los Angeles Times, Business Insider and the California Local News Fellowship. I believe that a strong press is the bedrock to a thriving democracy. I’m proud to be part of OPB’s mission of serving Oregonians through accessible and high quality news.

Before moving to Portland, I was a lifelong resident of Los Angeles where I was born and raised. When I’m not writing poetry or learning to DJ, I’m trying to surf the frosty coastline of the Pacific Northwest.
