Saskia Hatvany is a visual journalist for Oregon Public Broadcasting. She previously worked for The La Crosse Tribune in La Crosse, Wisconsin and The Winona Daily News in Winona, Minnesota. Her work has focused on the impacts of housing insecurity, public policy and environmental issues.

Originally from Oakland, California, she is bilingual in French and is a graduate of San Francisco State University’s journalism program. She likes to spend her free time playing the guitar, visiting loved ones abroad and launching into overly ambitious art projects.
