Portland Police Arrest 2 People Involved In Aug. 17 Demonstrations

Portland police Friday announced they arrested two additional people involved with protests that took place earlier this month.

Police arrested Antonio S. Zamora, 33, for a disturbance on Southwest Naito Parkway during the Aug. 17 demonstrations.

Zamora was charged with rioting, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

Police also charged 24-year-old Hannah Ahern with disorderly conduct in relation to a disturbance near Southwest Oak Street and Southwest 3rd Avenue.

Portland police arrested 13 people during the Aug. 17 demonstrations near downtown Portland.

The police bureau stated that detectives are actively working on cases related to those demonstrations as well as ones that occurred on May 1 and June 29.
