Philadelphia’s The Roots is a constant presence on TV screens during the workweek as the house band on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. But the acclaimed hip-hop group will be stepping out of screens to perform a sold-out show at the Oregon Zoo.

Even with its busy schedule, the collective released the track “It Ain’t Far” in November. Grounded by rumbling horns and Questlove’s steady drumming, guest vocalist Bilal and emcee Blackthought reflect on the current political moment. “We’ve come so far, yet he we are bruised and scarred,” Bilal sings.

The Roots will play the Zoo on July 21 at 7 p.m. We’re giving tickets to the sold-out show below. Enter for a chance to win.
