  • In 2014 and 2015, Washington's prison system experienced a spike in inmate suicides. During those two years 11 inmate deaths were ruled suicides, giving Washington one of the highest prison suicide rates in the country. Austin Jenkins dug into what happened.

  • Trains come through La Grande all day long, blowing a horn at every road crossing. Some residents of the city have been trying to figure out how to silence those horns for the last 10 years. Steve Clements, the mayor, thinks they finally have a plan.
