Two weeks ago, the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce issued a press release supporting some businesses making the “tough choice” to reopen. Klamath County currently falls in the “extreme risk” category of Oregon Health Authority’s guidelines. The Chamber says that local business owners are facing tough financial decisions, but should be allowed to make the responsible choice as long as they follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to keep employees and customers safe. Heather Tramp, the Executive Director of the Chamber, joins us.
