Wildfire north of Battle Ground prompts Level 3 ‘Go Now!’ evacuations

Level 3 “Go Now!” evacuation orders have been issued for a small area in northern Clark County, Washington.

The Hidden Meadows Fire ignited Monday in a rural, unincorporated community north of Battle Ground.

The fire is burning west of State Route 503 between Hidden Meadows Drive and Mountain View Drive.

As of 1:30 p.m., both sides of 127th Avenue, to the west, are in the Level 3 evacuation zone. Officials have also issued Level 1 and 2 evacuation notices for nearby areas.

A temporary evacuation assembly area has been set up at the Charter Oak Community Church in Battle Ground.

The Washington State Department of Transportation has closed State Route 503 in both directions between Northeast Gabriel Road and Northeast 365th Street.
