The emphasis on arts education in the new “Every Student Succeeds” law could mean a resurgence of musical traditions in Oregon schools - like winter concerts.

Music is already a staple in Portland's David Douglas School District, where Earl Boyles Elementary had its annual winter concert Friday.

OPB is following students at Earl Boyles for our "Class of 2025" reporting project - and it's just started a partnership with the Oregon Symphony.
