Jordan Rakei — “Bruises”

THANKS TO OUR SPONSOR:

Jordan Rakei is a talented multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer originally from Australia but currently based in the UK. His hypnotic new release “Bruises” is the title track from a recently released EP. Rakei’s wide vocal range complements the song’s eclectic instrumentation which is ferried along by the tranquil strings sections he wrote for his collaborators Amika Quartet.

Sunflower Bean — “Who Put You Up To This?”

Sunflower Bean will release its long-anticipated third album, “Headful of Sugar,” in May. Lead single “Who Put You Up To This?” is an indie-pop rock gem featuring banging rhythm, airy vocals and — perhaps most importantly — biting lyricism. “Are you satisfied? Who put you up to do things that you do? Was it your own choice? Questioning your life is the first step to taking the agency to change it,” the group said of the many questions posed within the song.

GRAE — “Room In The Desert”

With this new single, enigmatic Canadian pop artist GRAE served notice of her impending debut LP “Whiplash,” due out April 15. The atmospheric track is a sonic wonderland of sultry vocals and rhythmic swagger that never strays too far from serenity. “It’s a song that’s meant to take the listener on a journey and everyone finds their own meaning,” said GRAE.
