EARTHGANG feat. Future — “BILLI”

Last month Atlanta hip-hop duo EARTHGANG released their “Ghetto Gods” album which features this collaboration. “BILLI” drips with downtempo Southern hip-hop flavor. Future’s deep vocal take closes out the track, a perfect synergy to the rumble of the song’s bass-heavy production.

Death Parade — “Thirsty Moore”

Portland musician Laura Hopkins fronts the rock band Death Parade (formerly known by the Twin Peaks-inspired moniker Laura Palmer’s Death Parade). With Hopkins’ ghostly vocals and airy instrumentation, “Thirsty” Moore is a stand-out track from the group’s new album “IT WAS WORTH IT TO LOVE.” “Sharing this much of myself is terrifying…,” Hopkins recently said about the authenticity behind Death Parade’s new music.

Flasher — “Sideways”

Flasher is set to release its much-anticipated sophomore album, “Love Is Yours,” on June 17. Lead single “Sideways” confidently leans into pillow-soft vocals and a funk-influenced, jangly guitar tone. Following the recent departure of longtime band member Daniel Saperstein, the group has re-emerged as a duo consisting of Taylor Mulitz and Emma Baker. “Once we had this implosion, we let go of the pretense and confines that we had pigeonholed ourselves into,” Mulitz said of the production process behind the album.
