• State of Wonder's Aaron Scott talks with Irene Taylor Brodsky about her documentary "Open Your Eyes." It follows the life-changing journey of two blind Nepalis as their vision is restored — and it's playing at the Portland International Film Festival this month. We'll also hear about her new film, "Beware the Slenderman."

• Finally, we wrap up the hour with a tribute to Summer Whisman. She was featured as part of Think Out Loud's "At Home" series in September, and passed away on Saturday.
